    USB N64 controllers for emulation

    Hi all

Fully appreciate that there is nothing like the real thing but i've got Project 64 working on my pc at a pretty good speed.

However, using a USB gamepad obviously dont cut it!

Seen a few third party N64 controllers on Amazon and ebay with a USB connector and wonder if any of them are actually any good.

Suppose i could get an proper n64 controller and an adapter but at the moment, dont want to spend that much to be honest!

    cheers

Having used some fake N64 controllers at an anime event recently... You don't want to use fake N64 controllers.

I agree, they tend to be very cheap and nasty.

I found that a wired 360 joypad does the job very well with Project 64.

Cheers Guys, looking like the original controller and a USB adapter is the way forward!

I bought one for about ?6 recently, it was fine except the stick which was exceptionally stiff compared to a real one. I think it may be using a different mechanism
