Famicom on Bang & Olufsen (Picture Black and white!)

Okay, I've just managed to get a MD adaptor and I've set up my new famicom.

Thing is, the only way I can get a picture and with sound is through the 'SAT' on remote, but it displays in black and white.

The remote is a Beolink 1000 - so I don't think I can access everything...

    Any advice..

The famicom is AV Modded and I've got it in the Scart input on TV via a scart block.,..

    Thank You.

Tested It on my LCD TV, defo not the mod as that had full colour. (although the jail-bars were quite prominent, sadly)

    Any ideas....Thank You.

What is the tv model number? Perhaps it cant accept an NTSC signal over composite video.

Boom. That's the issue with buying a TV from the late 80s.

            1988 - 1990.

I think you'll need some kind of NTSC to PAL conversion unit.

As you can here here it only supports PAL / SECAM. You could buy an ntsc->pal converter quite cheaply.

                  Via RGB?

RGB is different than composite video, I'm sorry to say.

and if so...what cables do I need may I ask. The one for my Famicom has a single jack into console and 2 leads coming out (1 video one audio)

Sod it. I'll just get a Trinitron.

I've got this on my LCD for now. Just so I can play retro. The picture is terrible though, jail-bars are very vivid.
Will it look any better on a CRT...or is this just because its a poor mod... *Sigh*
