This has been playing on my mind a lot over the past several months and especially now that I just killed my SNES mini (never trust me with a soldering iron ). When I first started rebuying old games in the late 90s/early 2000s everything had to be original, emulation wasn't enough, even when it was still on a CRT via DC homebrew for example. More recently though I bought an everdrive for my MD and NES and well... I think for the MD at least that might be enough. I'm happy to use that while my games sit on the shelf and collect dust and if they're just going to sit there then I might as well sell them. Now I'm thinking I might be happy just emulating with a small PC hooked up to my CRT for everything bar my NES/MD/PS2.
So where do you guys fall when it comes to retro gaming? All original? Emulation only? Or somewhere in the middle?
