'Daze before Christmas' Why so expensive / rare

Noticed that this was selling for approx $100 (AUS) on eBay - the Megadrive version. Noticed that my local pornbroker had a mint condition copy selling for $5. Obviously I bought it.

So why is this game so rare/ expensive? From what I can gather it's a nice little platformer but still, $100? Was it only produced in limited numbers or something?

Also, should I take the money and run or hold onto my copy? Personally I'd rather spend that $100 on some DC or GC games?

Well it was only released in Australia, so Europeans / English will pay quite a bit for it as its hard to get.

If your interested in getting rid of it, PM me.

i think people are always looking to collect and complete collections, this was never released in europe or the US from what i know, only in AUS. So a complete copy makes it pretty rare and hard to find. I guess this is why its expensive, well it would be one reason.

Hey all, decided to sell my copy of 'Daze Before Christmas' because, frankly, I need the money. If you're interested, just do a search on Ebay and it should pop up under Weezy132.

The price is going so high because people are stupid and don't look where they should.
Seen two on trademe.co.nz selling for less than 20$ last month.
              Bought mine from gametraders.com 17$
The game is common in australia. But as it is an australian only release, people here believe it's uber rare when it's not (compared to ecco jr and fatal fury 2)

I wouldn't call it 'common', but it's certainly not worth the prices it's been getting recently.
