Onn 28" CRT tv -retro gaming?

my local asda has a rather nice brand new 28" crt display (looks 4:3). Is anyone using this type of Tv for retro gaming?

Ive still to upgrade to HD and use a 28inch Panasonic telly for all my gaming, currently have a ps3 and DC hooked up to it, though may hook up my genesis soon, to play some Thunderforce 3
