    New Collection Pics

    Hey guys,

Took some new pics of my Blue Box MD Collection:

It's every blue box game I'm aware exists...I have every intention of replacing that hideous vox under 'W' when I get a chance. Tell me if you think anythings missing.

Feel free to have a gander. Anyone else got any collection pics? Old or new?

    Gary

Wow! Never seen a complete PAL Saturn set before. I have all the PAL Mega CD games you need except Lethal Enforcers box. I would post my MCD set and GG set but I don't have any up to date pics.

Good collections from both of you there!!!

Must ask a question though and I'm asking this as politely as possible without trying to cause trouble.

Can I ask whey you both have Sega collections? Is it just a matter of you both preferring the games when compared to Ninty at the time. I was always far more into Ninty myself and didn't seem to get as much out of Sega consoles but I don't think I could really explain why that was.

Is there more stuff available? Did you prefer the games or do you both have other collections like these.

There does seem to be a few people who are really into Sega stuff like you two in comparison to people that have similar collections from Ninty. I'm just asking out of interest and I'm hoping that nobody who visits this thread will try to turn this into another one of those pointless Ninty vs Sega things.

        Cheers.

John Parry - the SEGA collection really just grew from nostalgia. I'm 23 so when I was growing up, especially in Primary School, my Megadrive was my console. I remember the first time i ever got to the Ice Cap ZOne in Sonic 3 and being BLOWN away by the fact that sonic could snowboard and the faux-3D of it all blew my mind.

paperghost - like the space chanel 5 collection.

Yes you do need to update your pictures I want to a picture of my beloved Shining Force III in there ASAP.

Nice sets by the way guys.

At some point I need to take pictures of my sets none are complete, but my fully SNES collection is something very special indeed. Also going for a full PAL set of Saturn games myself, out of interest how long you had a full PAL set of Saturn games?

As I knew a guy who finished the set about 5 years ago and wondered if you might be related?

                    Thanks for the compliments.

Nice collection by the way Gary (sorry forgot to say it earlier).
With regards to the Mega CD games you have (& I still need) I'm jealous :-). Well done & I will get them eventually.
Just updating my haves & wants list as they are a little out of date (Too busy playing the games :-)).

I collect for quite a few systems including Nintendo, but I have to be honest my passion has always been Sega. Being a young 44 I was around when the "new best thing" to be released was the PONG machine (many hours wasted playing that as a kid), & still have 2 now. When Sega released the SMS I was blown away by the graphics & the game play for most games (the SMS is still my favourite system). The NES never grabbed me the same way. However both systems brought out some great games (& also some real duff ones). With the following console releases (Mega Drive, SNES, Saturn, Dreamcast ect) I always felt Sega pushed the bar a little higher with what the console was capable of & new ideas. I'm sure Nintendo did as well but I was already hooked on Sega.

                    S3M
As soon as I get some free time I'll take new pics. I have had a full Saturn set for just over a year. The last game I needed was Courier Crisis, it was a swine to get, it took me over 8 months.
Cant wait to see pics of your SNES collection.
