Does System Shock 2 work on XP?

I'm thinking of getting this game as I am a big BioShock fan and I think I would also enjoy this game.

Does it work on XP properly without problems?

Err no, not by default but some kind souls have made it work.
Try searching for SS2Yamalar which is a pack of all the fixes and updated texture, sounds etc.

it will work but without any sound unless you get the pack smouty has mentioned above
