Creased Cardboard..can we fix it? (probably not)

Got some games and 'ting in cardboard packaging (gba games and the like) which have been crushed in the post due to piss poor packaging, resulting in creases in the cardboard. Is there anyway of removing the damage? Im currently trying the old flatten them out under a pile of 'heavy things' and its crossed my mind to give them a gentle iron even! Help!

Ironing works for paper and light card. Use a piece of greaseproof paper between the iron and the precious card and turn the steam off!

Really? I'll give that a try, thanks a lot how hot (or not) should the iron be? A low heat i take it?

I'm no expert but start low and go hotter. It might not get rid of the big creases but will make it flatter for sure...

Just remember not to hold it on there for too long. I burnt a coat with an iron a few months ago. I was used to using newspaper as insulation and forgot that the grease-proof paper was much thinner.

You'll be fine as long as you check it every few seconds.
