    your top ten album covers

Nothing to do with the music, just the artwork. For instance, I've never listened to a Duran Duran track, or Mike Oldfield (except Moonlight Shadow, of couse, that's wicked bad).

    10. Amnesiac - Radiohead

    9. The Queen is Dead - The Smiths

    8. Monster - R.E.M.

    7. OK Computer - Radiohead

    6. Animals - Pink Floyd

    5. Invisible Band - Travis

    4. Solid Air - John Martyn

    3. Crises - Mike Oldfield

    2. Stormbringer - John and Beverly Martyn

    1. Rio - Duran Duran

    I Need Drugs - Necro

    Bobby Digital - RZA

Sign O' The Times - Prince

Pimp To Eat - Analog Brothers

    Capital Punishment - Big Punisher

Luke - I Got **** On My Mind

Barn of The Naked Dead - Mr Hyde

What Time Is It? - The Time

    Doin Thangs - Big Bear

We Can't Be Stopped - Geto Boys

Especially like this one as Bushwick Bill shot himself in the eye after his girlfriend refused to shoot him after an argument, crazy bastard.

You weren't supposed to make them (the album covers) yourself.

I actually bought this album just because the cover was so cool, I didn't like it for years and it grew on me a bit, but it was still an incredibly hard listen for me.

These aren't in any particular order and it doesn't necessarily mean I like the music.

Most of them are really old but I don't think that the images on CD covers are as important as they used to be on 12" albums.

I think I'd add Depeche Mode, Pizzicato Five & The Pet Shop Boys as they tend to produce cover images I like even if I don't like the music.

Guns 'n Roses - Appetite For Destruction

BON JOVI - SLIPPERY WHEN WET

IRON MAIDEN - BRAVE NEW WORLD

VANILLA ICE - TO THE EXTREME

                  CAMEO - WORD-UP

Five that really stuck in my mind.

The original GNR Appetite for Destruction vinyl cover. Won't bother linking cos it's a bit rude.

Thought the Pendulum - Hold your colour cover was cool. Will add more later.

A few more. It's not something I'v ever ever thought about for much time but these all have something appealing.
If we are sticking to a strict top 10 I'd proberly loose the incubus and anyone covers and take in the Beefheart one.

Yeah it's not the greatest of albums, bit too abstract, RZA should just stick to making beats for the WU because he can't rap for ****, but like you said the artworks cool.
