It was a mistake apparently. They accidentally dug out footage from 3 years ago and used that in place of footage filmed yesterday...

BBC are State Television in all but name. They are in the pocket and beholden to whoever is in power at the time. The fact that there is nary a mention of the links to 9 Russians funding the Tory party says a lot.

I think people are reaching a bit on this one. Anyone who knows TV will know that it's all too easy to accidentally scour the archives for 3 year old footage that portrays your PM in a better light and mistakenly somehow lay it up over the current footage you just got in.

Can you imagine the news had Corbyn put the Wreath upside-down? He would be shown as a traitor.

They'd have accidentally photoshopped a Soviet hat onto his head for the footage. They're very accident-prone.

Jeremy Corbyn has been subject to the longest continuous smear campaign in history. We ask how much are all of us are influenced by the negative headlines.

Yep. There is some very deliberate messaging there and it's the same for this wreath 'accident'.

The Sun posted a story where they photoshopped out the WWII veteran friend of Corbyn while they both walked to the cenetaph together. The end result looked like Corbyn was dancing, so that's the story they actually went with....

                      Here's the Mirror debunking it.
There were claims the Labour leader was "doing a little dance" on his way to the Remembrance Sunday service. Here's what he was really doing

Here's the pictures the Sun created (story has since been removed from the Sun website!!) where you easily see the clone tool areas.
The Sun has sparked anger after it photoshopped out a war veteran who was attending a Remembrance Sunday service with Jeremy Corbyn. The Sun has now deleted the vile article – which was attem…

Shameless doesn’t start to describe it. Surely it’s lies, libel, interfering with a general election and whoever is responsible must be imprisoned no?

The british media is effectively the ministry of truth.

I nicked this from reddit but I think its worth posting here:

'A number of changes made during the last seven years or so, spearheaded by David Cameron, have led to the corporation's news and politics departments becoming little more than ventriloquists dummies. Of particular note are the following:

                            1)

Important posts at the BBC being filled by pro-government figures from the private sector (Rona Fairhead, David Clementi, James Harding, Robbie Gibb etc)

                            2)

Direct links with the manipulative tabloid press being strengthened by Downing Street giving important positions to dubious characters like Andy Coulson and Craig Oliver

                            3)

The subsequent recruitment of people like Alison Fuller Pedley (of Mentorn Media), who is responsible for choosing who gets to be in the Question Time audience, and Sarah Sands (formerly of the Telegraph, Mail and Evening Standard) who now edits Radio 4's Today programme"

                            4)

All of the above follows Cameron's appointment, in June 2010, of John Browne (Baron Browne of Madingley) to the post of 'Lead Non-Executive Director' for Downing Street, his role being that of recruiting business leaders to reformed departmental boards' - Browne's questionable history at BP notwithstanding (remember Deep Horizon!)

                            5)

How all of this quiet, underhand activity has been largely unreported, but has given the current Conservative government immense power within fashionable and influential circles.

This means they can not only dictate what information is made available to the public, but also the manner in which it is presented. You don't need to read many pages of that book by George Orwell to grasp how easy it is to control the populace once you have control of the means of communication.'

No, it sounds like a conspiracy theory.

The BBC get called out on bias from all sides, which means it's being pretty even handed.

BBC Newsnight faced extreme backlash for host, Kirsty Wark’s allegedly 'biased' comments against the Prime Minister, where she claimed he was “going to have to eat humble pie” over his refusal to extend the Brexit deadline.

Shame of BBC IF the scandal of the BBC’s Tory leadership debate doesn’t trigger wholesale reform over its political bias nothing will. It has rarely been more blatant. Here was the corporation caug…

The BBC is embroiled in a fresh Brexit bias row after MPs from across the political spectrum called for new guidelines to ensure the broadcaster is "impartial.
