Twitter, On That There Internet!

I've never bothered with it, I've had cursory involvement with it thanks to work but it's effectively just FB's status update feature as a website.

That's what I like about it. You can get a brief one liner or a quick update on someone's life without feeling like you're being stalked. If you only follow the people you like or that make you laugh, your timeline will always be fun. Rather than that guy from school that you never liked anyway.

Twitter looks remarkably difficult to keep track of if the people you're following update their page dozens of times a day.

I don't follow those people. I stopped following Stephen Fry because of this. Most people don't update that much though, anyone with dozens or hundreds of tweets a day will be mainly @replying to other people, and you won't see those unless you're following both.

I have an account but I've never posted, I only use it for following. I find it very useful as an easy way to keep updated on football, news, politics, etc..

I sometimes tweet about games, often I tweet inane surreal nonsense. Like the time I emailed a guy on ebay selling a server power case, asking if I could attach butane gas to fry cheese with it, seeing as it resembled a stove in photos. Oh the larks!
