Life will be so much easier with this thread. Despite often being a list of what's commercially popular rather than critically praised it can be an interesting thing to observe, especially when more niche titles arrive.
Additionally, it will reduce the need to post the same chart in the thread for every game when discussing. So, onwards, we can use this thread for any chart from any region as a point of general discussion on how games are selling. This weeks UK multiformat chart has been released and is quite interesting:
GfK/Chart-Track Top 10 (week ended October 8):
01. FIFA 12 (EA)
02. Rage (Bethesda)
03. Dark Souls (Namco Bandai)
04. Gears of War 3 (Microsoft)
05. F1 2011 (Disney)
06. Dead Island (Deep Silver)
07. Zumba Fitness (505 Games)
08. Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Square Enix)
09. Lego Pirates of the Caribbean (Disney)
10. Resistance 3 (Sony)
FIFA's sales are quite typical but Rage seems to have opened well with Dark Souls having quite a strong showing too. Lower down Dead Island is showing a long sales curve and Resistance 3 is holding up very strong considering it's only on one platform and has been out longer than some multi-format releases that have hit since it.
