It's on Taito's G-net hardware (Psyvariar, Raycrisis) which is JAMMA so you can play it on any cab, and the controllers come with holders that fit a standard joystick mount.

It's a lot of fun. G-net is PlayStation based hardware so they should be very similar.

World Rally is ace. Closest thing I have to it is Neo Driftout, which is very good but doesn't quite have the weighty handling of WR.

Looks good. Shame about it being on a format that I cannot stand for games that require touching the screen to turn.

That is a shame, becuase it plays as well as any game on a pad actually. Touchscreen gaming seems to be getting better all the time and they actually seem to work well for this type of game (yet still seem rubbish for other types of racers).
