Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS (PS3)

So ive just recieved my copy from Ami Ami. So the game starts off with a Linkin Park opening movie which shows all the Gundam mecha and some game play. Into the main menu and theres seven options to start, all with english headings which helps. so the main headings are Arcade,Free Battle,Ranked Matched (online),Player Match (online),Missions, Briefing room, and options.
So Arcade , you start off and you can pick 8 scenarios, from 1-A (Easy)to 1-F(Hard) and then 8 stages ie stage 2-A to 2-F, which has branches if you pick 1-F and win you can go on and pick 2D, 2E,2F, and so on some open more than others, and all scenarios have you fighting different mech from Gundam's 30 years of history.

Free Battle is a 2V2 battle which you pick a team-mate and fight against 2, you have 2 lifes total, if your 2 lifes goes even if your team mate has full health game over.

Player matches are again 2 V 2 but with 4 teams, team A V B and C V D with the winners meeting in the final, same rules as free battle, and if your mech gets killed it tallies up points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Online ranked is same as above but playing for rank either going up or down depending how you do ie 1st, 2nd or 3rd again or worse if knocked out previous round.
The online has been pretty flawless with everything running at 60FPS and no lag . The enviroments are a bit sparse but the mecha and weapons have a real amazing look to them, kinda like DW Gundam 3 Cel shading is just looks the DB'S.

Missions have you playing either Zeon or Federation in sceeens from around all the Gundam universes, here you can level up your mecha to take in batttle and can unlock new mecha and characters too, by fighting special bosses.

So if you love Gundam you'll absolutely got nuts for this as it has amazing stuff and with every Gundam series from original to double nuts, which you can access from the options and look over all the MS you have unlocked and just the art.

Another cool bit of far service is at the start of a battle your given a cutscence from the anime series in question which usually involves Gundam V Zeon MS suits flying around the screen and kicking ass and rockets and bazookas and swords flying everywhere then the title comes up like MS Gundam Unicorn with all the symbols and art work from the title, cool looking and jawdropping to watch. So if you have any interest in Gundam id say buy this title ASAP, if you enjoyed games like virtual on and like you'd totally love it too.
