Interesting note made in the release of the new NFL schedule last night...

We know that many of you are waiting for us to announce the on-sale dates for Seattle Seahawks vs Oakland Raiders at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Due to the stadium being under construction, we do not yet have a full, finalized seating plan for NFL games. For example, US broadcasters of NFL games require considerably more camera positions than for a soccer game (minimum of 27) and they need the opportunity to survey the stadium. To ensure that we deliver the best possible fan experience – and to avoid selling seats that we later discover will have an obstructed view - we cannot go on sale until this seating plan has been finalized. We expect to begin hospitality ticket sales in June, with all other tickets likely to follow in early August.
Will be interesting to see how much the capacity decreases because of this. They always blank the first ten rows of seats on the sidelines at Wembley too, so maybe happen here (or not).
Lie with passion and be forever damned...

They have to tarp off the first ten rows at Wembley because they're too low and people in those rows would have their view blocked by all the people standing on the sidelines of an NFL match; that definitely won't happen at new WHL as the stadium has been specifically designed to avoid it.

The NFL pitch will be just under two metres lower than the normal football pitch, so that the people in the front row are high enough to see over the heads of everyone who stands on the sidelines during an NFL match.

The only seats that should be lost are the ones whose view becomes blocked by any of the extra camera positions they put in for an NFL match (plus I think the first two rows of the south stand are removed when the retractable pitch slides under that stand).

Fingers crossed for the game today, looking forward to it; let's just hope the great Spurs team turn up and not the merely decent one.

The not even decent and knackered one turned up, unfortunately.

Spurs played just I'd hoped for the first 20mins, scored a great goal and harrying MU everywhere, never letting them rest. One mistake by a too casual Dembele in a dangerous position and MU are back on terms and from that point Spurs looked tired and suddenly seemed to have run out of ideas in the last third.

They scored again and MU totally managed the game from then on.

HK was marked completely out of it, Son was losing the ball regularly and corners/free kicks were wasted far too often. Did David De Gea have to make any save in the second half? Not that I saw.

Very disappointing end to our FA Cup run after such a promising start.

Gutted, nowt to add to the above. Brilliant start, playing great, gift them a route back into the game. Agree about our lack of chances in the second half, once Man Utd went ahead it never felt like we’d get back into it unless it was a long range bolt of the blue. Such a shame after the good start. Hopefully the team can pick themselves up and finish off the league season in style, as we did after last year’s semi final loss. COYS!

Stoke did us a favour today against Liverpool. They've played two more games than Spurs but are only four points ahead. Two wins and we'll be two points ahead and possibly closing on MU too. They might both have a melt down but I still think we're going to have to win three of the remaining four games just to finish above Liverpool but that is at least in our hands.

Yup, shame Swansea couldn't get anything against Chelsea but you can't have everything.

It's a tight scenario at the moment; finishing 3rd is in our hands, but a slip up and Chelsea in 5th are right behind us. The fact that Chelsea and Liverpool play each other might end up being key, as one or both will definitely end up dropping points there.

Hopefully we'll just win our own games so everyone else's results become moot

Pretty average performance tonight but we got the three points and that’s all that matters. We deserved the win but it could have been different if Watford had taken one of their chances to equalise in the first half; had they done so it wouldn’t have been undeserved. Some good saves from Hugo kept them out and then we killed it off at the start of the second half.

Could have added a couple more with Vertonghen very unlucky with his header that hit the post, Kane not quite being able to sort his feet out in time to tap in the rebound, and a big miss from Sissoko from a great Kane through ball. Watford did much less in the second half and their only real chance was a great chance for Richarlison that he somehow put over the bar.

I think we play West Brom before Chelsea play Liverpool, so hopefully we can get another win there so we be in a very comfortable position going into that match. West Brom are looking a different proposition to a few weeks ago though, Darren Moore has really got them fighting to go down with a bit of pride, so it’s not gonna be a walk in the park.

Or we can go into that match in a slightly nervous position.

We had all the possession but didn't have the urgency or creativity to break them down. Only one really good chance for Kane in the first half but we created little apart from that, and while West Brom didn't attack much they were dangerous from set pieces and we had a couple of escapes before they scored right at the end. Fair play to West Brom, we weren't good enough and they took advantage and kept themselves in the Premier League for a few hours longer at least, got the rewards for the fight they put up.

Still in our own hands for top four but we definitely need to up our game in the final couple of matches, especially if Chelsea beat Liverpool and are right behind us.

I'd lol at your loss today but Palace have them next week and it's possible that will be a relegation decider and as palace are now safe I expect west brom to bring their a game.

I was gonna say that it looks like Southampton have sent West Brom down anyway, but they've let in a last minute equaliser to keep West Brom up. Maybe West Brom are going to do the impossible and survive; saved from relegation by a last minute goal twice in one day, their fans must have no fingernails left!

It's a shame that (from what I've read) West Brom are looking at other managers for next season instead of sticking with Darren Moore. He's done so well to give them a slim chance of staying up, why not give him a chance? Going for the "tried and tested", "safe pair of hands", "he knows the league" type didn't do much for them this season.

Very disappointing game yesterday judging from MotD and not the first time WBA have spiked our season.

WTF was HK doing back there with that almost own goal? It is not the first time that's happened either. He tries to help out everywhere on the pitch, particularly when Spurs are generally under-performing, but it is a mistake. Whilst it is a laudable way for a player to try to inspire his team but you can actually try to do too much and end up not helping at all.

Another season where Spurs seem to have run out of steam a month early; just hope they do not mess up at this late stage and lose fourth place to Chelsea.

Mounting a serious challenge to get second place, which we could have at least imagined was possible, is now dead and buried. Third place now looks fanciful too and I'll actually be hoping for a Liverpool win against Chelsea or, failing that, a draw just to give us the best chance of holding on to fourth.

If WBA somehow survive, greater come back than even Leicester?

I suppose that Chelsea win can be seen as the "all or nothing result", the gap to fifth has been cut back but it's also given us our best chance of finishing third. Come on Spurs, it's in our own hands, get those two wins and get us over the finishing line.

Hmm, I don't know. But if they do stay up maybe they should get rid of Darren Moore after all, bring in Ranieri and go for the title next season
