Apparently any character who features in Episode 7 isn't clear to be in a spin-off which has killed some rumours and furthered the one that Boba Fett will be the lead focus of the first one. Its rumoured that though canon, the clone storyline of the prequels is unpopular at the Mouse House and so Jango's son will be killed off quickly and a mystery new character will become the bounty hunter Boba Fett that we see feature in the original trilogyComment

According to this rumour, the first Star Wars spin-off film will be set during the original trilogies era in time and will focus on a team of bounty hunters who are tasked with stealing the blueprints of the Death Star. No character specifics but one of the lead characters is said to be a character introduced in Episode VIIComment

Apparently Rooney Mara and Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany are up for the lead female role in this spin-off. Maslany all the way even though I've no idea what the role is, she deserves it!Comment
