    Resurrected!

I'm looking for a some trainer advice. I'm after a new pair. I usually buy Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 or similar; something with a thin tread.
I tend to walk with a bit of a bounce and any Nike airs and such just make it look like I'm walking in zero-G.
However, I currently don't have money to blow £80+ on them.
Can anyone advise a good, cheap pair with a thin tread?

Damn, so much trainer talk lost :-(

Picked up some mustard yellow Puma Suedes whilst in Milan (50% off!). Maybe I'll get all the colours :-)

Quite like the look of these. Good call, thanks.

I can't believe this thread has been dormant since 2015!

I work part time in a running shop. I'm drowning in trainers that the brands want me to use. Not a problem...

Chaz! Can I get mate's rates for a decent pair of running trainers?
                        They're crazy expensive!

Got a new pair of Samba's today, new ones on the end, current ones in the middle got cleaned up to indoor Japan standard so they can take over DIY duties.
Current DIY trainers on the left go in the bin.

Have you seen these 'Copa' in Sports Direct? :

They have a similar look to the Samba, don't know about the quality but they seem to be reasonably priced enough to take a punt on.

Thanks, although I don't like SD, I got mine there today. Everywhere else massively more expensive and none on ebay in my size.

Am going in again tomorrow to get some Asics for the daughter for her PE lessons so will take a look. They actually look ok, the upper part of the sole looks the same as Samba but the lower part that comes into contact with the pavement doesn't look as grippy or tacky as the Samba sole.

Still, I'll have a gander tomorrow so thanks again.
