    MCU: Thor 3: Ragnarok

Craig Kyle, the senior vice president of Production and Development for Marvel and executive producer on “Thor: The Dark World,” has also scored the job of co-writing the third film in the “Thor” franchise. Christopher Yost, who co-wrote “Thor: The Dark World” with Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, will co-write “Thor 3” with Kyle. Marvel […]

Seems we're starting to get a good idea of how Phase 3 will pan out. Some of the crew from the second film are said to be diving into this third entry in the Thor line. Assuming Guardians of the Galaxy does well enough too to warrant a typical three year turnaround sequel we're looking at this Phase 3 line up in either this or other order:

    2015 - Ant Man
    2016 - Thor 3
    2016 - Unannounced Marvel
    2017 - Captain America 3
    2017 - Guardians of the Galaxy 2
    2018 - The Avengers 3

With Spider-Man officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe and getting his own new standalone film on July 28th 2017, the move has had a knock on effect on Marvel Studios’ release slate with many of its projects getting half-year (or longer) delays. “Thor: Ragnarok” will now arrive nearly four months later on November 3rd 2017. […]

The announcement of Spiderman has meant that several Marvel films have been delayed. From this film onwards the schedule is now:

    November 3rd 2017: "Thor: Ragnarok"
May 4th 2018: "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1"
    July 6th 2018: "Black Panther"
    November 2nd 2018: "Captain Marvel"
May 3rd 2019: "Avengers: Infinity War Part 2"
    July 12th 2019: "Inhumans"

Not sure if this will mean any date shifts from Fox or Warner Bros for their films now

I'm curious if the title of this refers to the Norse mythology:

In Norse mythology, Ragnar?k is a series of future events, including a great battle foretold to ultimately result in the death of a number of major figures (including the gods Odin, Thor, T?r, Freyr, Heimdallr, and Loki), the occurrence of various natural disasters, and the subsequent submersion of the world in water. Afterward, the world will resurface anew and fertile, the surviving and returning gods will meet, and the world will be repopulated by two human survivors.
Or the robot version of Thor from Civil War:

When the real Thor was missing in action, presumed dead, Tony Stark took one of his hairs, which he had retained from the first meeting of the Avengers, and helped Reed Richards and Hank Pym clone the Asgardian DNA within, fusing him with Stark technology. This resulted in the creation of a new, cyborg Thor. The clone was put into action during the superhero Civil War, sent to battle anti-registration heroes.
Either one would work in the context of all the films building to Civil War.

Perhaps, but one of them is epic, and the other one sounds like something I would scrawl in the back of an English exercise book when I was 9 (I'm sure in context CLONE ROBOT IRON MAN THOR doesn't seem as lame as the summary would suggest, but it sounds terrible).
