    Yakuza 6

GamesRadar+ takes you closer to the games, movies and TV you love.

A teaser has suggested Sega will lift the lid on its next Yakuza game next week. With the latest spin-off now out and 5 being a while back betting money would be on this for PS4 and maybe PS3

Whatever it is, please let it be localized!

Don't hold your breath, Yakuza 5 nor Yakuza Ishin have never made it to the west yet.

Ishin was PS4 only wasn't it so would expect anything new to be the same. But this is Sega ....

Yakuza 1 through 4 did, and it was likely only poor sales of that stupid spin-off 'dead souls' that made em hold back on 5. Hopefully they've got over that by now, especially with nothing comparable on next gen consoles.

          Ishin was also on PS3.

Well, given Sega is inviting players to vote for the Japanese pornstars they want to appear for some kind of 'maintain your erection' minigame in Yakuza 6 (complete with reward/unlocks of porno clips), I think we can probably say goodbye to any hopes of localization: http://kotaku.com/one-thing-we-know-...ars-1599590581

I've already come to terms with the fact that we'll never see more Yakuza games in English. Which is a damn shame as all kinds of **** get translated and released here and Yakuza is actually a quality series.

I can understand why they feel it won't work in the west, as there is a lot of stuff in the game that is just too 'Japanese' for a joe public westerner to comprehend...

Still, stranger things have happened, so maybe a censored version, like yakuza 3?

I didn't understand a word of it but the PS4 demo of Ishin was pretty fantastic.

I found the "foreign" presence in it amusing. I'm still waiting for the game to be in a PA sale before putting money down on it.

                        What's that zombie one like?

                        Are there nunchuks in it?

It's a mindless, fun shoot 'em up with some adventure game/RPG elements like the main Yakuza games. I don't remember if you can use nunchucks in it, probably not because it's mostly about guns. BIG guns and lots of them. There's all sorts of crazy stuff like a guy coming back from the dead with a cybernetic-minigun-arm and you can take down multiple zombies with a single, penetrating .50 caliber sniper rifle round from point-blank. There's just something really satisfying in running errands down the zombie-filled streets and casually just blowing them away with a shotgun like they're nothing, because you're such a fricking badass!

You know what, infact, it's awesome, I loved it! You can probably get it for the price of a bag of crisps too. I think I have to rebuy it.

I quite enjoyed the batting minigame as well.

I hope they bring out Kuro no hyou 1&2 HD on Vita.

Clearly I poopoo'd this out of total ignorance, never having played it. Does it have the full range of Yakuza 4 distractions, especially like Mahjong and Go parlours? If so, I want it.
