Worst comes to worst it’s using usb for the pad inputs so with hacking or maybe without multi button usb pads will hopefully work.

Way ahead of its time with the size and hu cards and th GT was awesome.

I'm sure SEGA beat Hudson for cards . I remember Lee talking me into getting a GT, it was the most amazing piece of kit and like all NEC/Hudson consoles looked cool as fu*k. I hope we get a Mii Duo as well ,if this model takes off

I remember getting the CVG/MeanMachines Guide to Console book and seeing this PC Engine. I was already down to inport a Megadrive for Christmas and I was trying to get my younger bro to ask Santa for a PC Engine. Such a lovely thoughtful brother I was.

He got a mountain bike, of course.

Didn’t msx first use the precursor of hucards called beecards? Hudson developed the format if I remember right. Not sure if Sega used the same tech or developed their own the kind of look similar but I don’t know how many pins Sega cards use.

If you pause the core grafx launch video you can see other games in the background. I’ve spotted Lords of Thunder And Sapphire in there.

Out of the stuff from e3 this is the best thing, it literally is my wish granted. Just hope it’s not a monkeys paw wish lol

Quite a bit of buzz around it though, will be great for the masses to experience how cool the pce is.
