speecy stuff ran brilliantly when i emulated it on the DS

C64 emulation was terrible on the DS. I had assumed the spectrum stuff would be the same. Might grab it and give it a shot.

The thing I like most about ZXDS is being able to browse WoS and download and run whatever takes your fancy.

There has been a slight delay due to adding a couple of new features to the machine. The first prototype is due to go on display at Game City in Nottingham at the end of the month.

The first batch of Vega systems go out on Friday. The delay was due to having to submit it for Pegi classification. About 1200 games on the Vega so that wasn't exactly a five minute job. The second batch should go out on the following Friday. General retail sales should start a few weeks later.

Up for pre-order on Funstock now, ?99.99 with a release date of ten days time.

Just hope none of the publishers of the 1000 installed games want a piece of the revenue...

There was quite the kerfuffle over that: http://www.gamesindustry.biz/article...ems-under-fire I believe it got sorted in the end.

This is just a Speccy emulator though - rubber keys aside.

Spot on, and probably costs $10 to produce.

Found a list of the 1,000 games included with the machine: http://www.funstock.co.uk/zx-spectrum-vega-console

It all seems a bit filler but I could pick some out that I remember being decent at the time. Quite how many will really hold up for more than two minutes curiosity I'm not sure. Nice to see the PiMan games in there, but there are dozens of notable missing titles.

                          My picks:
                          -------------
                          3D-Tanx
                          Atic Atac
                          Auf Wiedersehen Monty

No Bumpy, no Chaos, no sale.

Whatever happened to the kickstarted scandalous bluetooth keyboard project?

You can load your own apparently, but it's a shame Chaos isn't listed.

I'm hoping this will have the Speccy classic hidden as an extra in there somewhere ...
