Apparently building manager is going to be showing my apartment tomorrow. It's all as stated in the rental agreement so I can't complain.

...Until I meet the people coming to see the place, then I'll be pointing out the vomit stains on the door and floor outside from Friday night, the unsecured emergency exit, broken car window, and of course where I literally put duct tape on the walls to stop cockroaches.

And the place is full of boxes as we've already done a bunch of packing before we move in 2 weeks.

Gunkanjima tour was great but a little short and the areas limited that we could see.
Bomb museum was also really interesting (probably not in the correct discussion...), much smaller and not as busy than Hiroshima's though Nagasaki is is bit out of the way, however it doesn't pull any punches with lots of graphic content - much more so than Hiroshima, photo's of bodies including kids and babies, shocked us all.

Back 'home' took out father in-law's Thor for a spin, what a lovely little car, drives itself, loads of electronic gizmo's including powered sliding doors both sides.
About 10k here, wish we had these types of cars in England.

I’ve been cycling to work for almost a year now. Before that, about a decade ago I used to cycle to work for maybe three or four years and obviously I cycled a lot as a kid. Often had tyre trouble, usually having soft tyres and broke a valve recently pumping one up, which was weird.

I’m 43. Yesterday, I noticed that there is a little twisty bit on the bike valves that you have to open up when pumping them. NOBODY EVER TOLD ME THAT.
