What are the chances of this getting an English language release? Is the JP version easily playable?

wonder boy is down to £8.99 til the 22nd was gonna buy it on cart but think i will pick it up on digital download now.

Going off the last few years it seems like the chances of a western version are pretty much nil but I tried out the J-versions of the Wii games and the 3DS entries and they're easily navigated as every entry pretty much uses the same menu system as they did back on PS2

Speculation picked up on Era is that Star Fox Racing will feature:

-Gameplay works very differently from Mario Kart or F Zero with a focus on Arwing flight racing.
-Each GP takes place over three courses after which a boss descends onto the third course and you have to defeat them using traditional Star Fox gameplay
-Races feature combat which rewards the player with speed boosts
-Features a central hub where you interact with Star Fox characters
-Features side missions and story content
-May feature other Nintendo ip cameo's
-Apparently one of the Switches better looking games

Urgh. Doesn't sound great, imo. Racer that wants to be a shooter too??

But time will tell.

The value of this game at the moment is that due to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe we're unlikely to see any other Nintendo racer, hopefully they continue the quality bar but Star Fox at this point... is troubled.
