Yep, some Labour votes would be lost but the rise of the Lib Dems shows that the Brexit Party isn't the fight Labour should be fighting overall. They're losing ground because they won't back Remain and will continue to erode until they do.
One of the biggest frustrations currently is seeing Labour and the Conservatives continually misread the European Election results and also them focusing and reacting to the Brexit Party all the time. The Brexit Party literally is rebranded UKIP and its reacting to them that literally led to Brexit and the first Referendum in the first place. Neither of them has obvious learnt a damned thing in 4 years.
