Usb devices won’t wake computer in standby state s3.

    Bios settings.

    acpi standby state: S3
Resume from s3 by usb device: enabled

I have the keyboard plugged into a black usb 2.0 port as i understand usb 3.0 has been a problem for a lot of people with this.

Usb devices are deff not able to wake from sleep in s3, they will do in s1. I could change back to s1 but I want my system completely shut down in sleep mode when not using.

    Any ideas?

    Update.

    S3 mode enabled in bios.
Wake from usb enabled in bios.

Go to device manager in windows and my keyboard has NO power management tab to able this device to wake fron sleep.

So how the f am I supposed to enable that keyboard then? It’s a Logitech g810.

Edit. Might be a Logitech driver issue causing it.

Plugged in an older Logitech keyboard, power management tab is there for that one & enabled in windows.

That keyboard won’t wake from sleep either.

So I’m thinking the bios state of “wake from sleep state usb: enabled” is actually lying and isn’t enabled for sleep state S3 at all.
