Amblin Entertainment and James Wan are planning a remake of the cheesy, rubbish old spider movie. The new version seems to be the same concept of a Venezuelan spider spawning deadly offspring in a small town. Wan won't direct this so someone else will be hired at a later date, though original director Frank Marshall has returned as Executive Producer.
