The greatest flavour of crisps is...

    Walkers Tomato Sauce.

Got to be as they are so awesomely moreish. Note, moreish and not moorish - we’re not talking about 13th century Africans here but given the tangents I’ve witnessed before we may yet...

      Also, it's cheese and onion.

In related news does anyone else remember that cheese and onion was always green packs and salt and vinegar came sporting blue hues?

Not one for this Mandela effect but that one right there has had me pondering many a night as nowadays it’s the other way round and no one else seems to have noticed the switchover.

Yes, and the best flavour is salt and vinegar. Bensons crisps circa 1970.

Oh man, yet another Replicashooter thread that's going to end up in a flame war of insults and angry arguments!

What on Earth are you talking about? Salt 'n' Vinegar is blue!

Actually, it was Golden Wonder who first released Cheese and Onion in green packets and asked other crisp makers to follow suit, but Walkers went with blue and they've always been blue. They had to put a statement on their website about it:
Question: Why did you change your packaging for Salt and Vinegar and Cheese and Onion so they're in the wrong colours?
Answer: Contrary to popular belief, Walkers Cheese and Onion have always been in blue packets, and Salt and Vinegar have always been in green packets. We don't have a plan to change this, as it's signature to our brand.

Another vote for chee/un. Always the first flav to go in the bumper multi-pack in the cupboard (the one that's supposed to be for the boys' packed lunches).

Actually they're exactly the same flavour, in differently labelled bags and your mind tells you the flavour.

Going a little off-tangent but Potato Puffs were the business, Barbecue Wotsits were OK too. Chicksticks could never really warm to.

                            Crisps, Tyrrell's salt n vinegar
Widening the field a bit, wotsits that have been left out a couple of hours so they go chewy.

Not sure if you guys get the tayto brand, but their salt n vinegar and cheese n onion are superb.
