Critics Club II: 15 - Jamie Lee Curtis

"Fear of voting is not an option"

So hard to find suitable animated gifs amongst a sea of ones of her undressed to various degrees.

Vote for the movie you feel is their best whilst also discussing their other work, your reasons for voting and thoughts on what is their weakest.

Some will have very long lists so some trimming will be required to focus on the key entries but broadly the main selection will be available each time.

She's a bit restricted in range in Halloween, but she;s pretty convicing as somebody terrified.

I love this footage of people reacting to Halloween in 1979:

I quite liked her in Blue Steel (not the Zoolander pose!)

Although it's quite a comedic role, I thought she was great in True Lies and manages to be dorky, sexy, cool and tough throughout the film.

Found out during this thread that she had a two uncredited voice roles too in Halloween III and the same voicing an phone operator in Escape from New York

The phone operator is Halloween III, it's the voiceover at the start of EFNY.

          BONUS FACT:
The wire frame CGI at the start is actually a black model with white tape on the edges and lit up with a black light!

True Lies wins again for me, may have been better in many other films but that's the film I think of when I think of her, then My Girl, then maybe Trading Places/ Freaky Friday and Fierce Creatures/ A Fish called Wander.

Character was well played, interesting change in character in the role.

And of course in THAT scene she looks F-ing incredible.

Had to be Trading Places; she just commands the screen every moment she's on it.
