As well as a series of hidden tunnels, there's a whole abandoned cinema underground in Birmingham that's been disused for 25 years.
It had a massive screen for showing prints like Gandhi on 70mm film.

That's a good read. I have actually been in Stealhouse Lane prison and that tunnel to the courts, its fascinating. Looks like prison in Porridge.
I heard a rumor that under the Bullring is some of the old existing shopping street. Dunno how true that is.

300 Disney-style castles lie empty in £151m Turkish ghost town - drone video

"Burj al Babas was left unfinished last year after developers Sarot Property Group went bankrupt. The future of the 300 Disney castle style homes – which cost an estimated £151m to build – is now uncertain, and the dystopian sight has become a cautionary tale for other developers in Turkey’s debt-laden construction sector."

This is crazy! Imagine how much money was spend on this?! Just checked prices of properties for sale in Turkey and some houses are not cheap and here you can see the whole town half build. Hope some bank or investors will take over this project and continue with it because it looks amazing.

What the hell as the plan with those? It looks really odd that all the houses are uniform and they're in the middle of nowhere by the looks with zero infrastructure or anything around them for anyone who might buy one. Why do I feel like someone scarpered with a lot of cash from that project?

Interesting. Looks like they are holiday homes built as investment properties for Middle Eastern families, according to the articles I’ve read when Googling it.

The strange design of them, identical and so close together, has a surreal vibe.

Ive started watching Ghost Town Gold on Netflix. For once I don’t want the murder the hosts horribly for being annoying little t*****s. Plus some of the stuff they dig out of people places are really interesting.

Passionate about urban exploration, the photographer roamed around Japan's ruins, witnesses to a bygone era.

"Romain Veillon has two passions in life, first, urbex, the exploration of abandoned locations, and secondly, photography. The photographer has combined the two, documenting a different side of Japan, off the beaten path.

Over the course of three weeks, he explored the least-known corners of the archipelago, going as far as to find himself among ruins. Once bursting with life, these hotels, onsen, schools, casinos, temples and even a theme park, have since been plunged into the depths of an unnerving silence.

Fascinated by the mysticism of these place, where only nature remains, Romain Veillon has immortalised these sublime scenes of decomposition. Spared from vandalism, these sites remain almost troublingly familiar, giving his photographs an even more striking character."

That’s awesome, I’d live on that. It’s like being in Sting Ray except without the strings.
