The PSVR love in this thread is great to see ... it says the industry is actually doing something new and exciting. Hoping the same love is filtering back to the suits at Sony HQ and they keep running with it.

Game of the year for me is Dark Souls Remastered.

Worst game of the year (the only other new game) is RDR2. I cannot say exactly why but it doesn't excite me as much as it should.

2019 Bomba - hard to say, maybe Anthem?

Best 2017 Game played in 2018 - HZD - almost my GOTY pipped by DS.

Platform of the year is my PS4, but I must admit the X is one hell of a machine.

Sorry not many picks but I haven't played many new games at all this year.

So i've been racking my brain to think of some games to list here and I went to the wiki page to see what games were released in 2018 that i've played to jog my memory (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_in_video_gaming). I haven't bought a single one! Nothing at all released this year!
I don't know if that's good or bad.

Correct I haven't. I'm absolutely certain there are far far far worse games in 2018 but I haven't played them.

Not yet, it isn't due to be delivered until 8th Jan.

I played the trial of SotTR and it just bored me to tears. It just didn't feel as good to play as the first two either. Control felt fuzzy.

Barely played much this year.

My gam of the year is EDF5.

I’ve only really played a few gams.
The Witcher 3 is the best thing I’ve played, period. That took months for me to finish, from March to August. I’ve also played Shadow Tactics and Jurassic World Evolution (which I suppose is my second best gam of the year). I’ve played No Man’s Sky too.

As such, I can’t really do a Gam of the Year list.
