    Amiga 3000 Colour Issue

    Hi,

Longshot so I'm posting this everywhere so apologies if you read it on any other forums you frequent.

When the built-in flicker fixer is working I am losing colour. Like when you have a faulty scart lead and one of the colour pins isn't connected (RGB). Any ideas where the problem might lie? Some pics showing the problem:

    Flicker fixer off:

    And on:

I show the image I'm getting on my Taxan multisync. My LCD monitors will only work with the flicker fixer on but both of them exhibit the same colour issue. HELP ME!

I see someone recommended reseating Amber on another forum? Probably worth a try, especially if the machine has been in transit. To me, it looks like you're missing the green channel? Which might suggest a sync-on-green problem with the cable?

    Actually, according to this manual:
    https://archive.org/download/Amiga_3..._Commodore.pdf
In appendix A-12 there is a jumper (J450) that defines sync on green. Check that (couldn't find it referenced in other places so it could be a later 3000 revision than you have). Anyway, set it to the opposite setting and see if it sorts your issue.
