Extinction Rebellion are today protesting at Labour HQ pushing for zero carbon commitments with a deadline of 2025. Again, I feel this doesn't help them. Pulling unrealistic dates out your backside undermines the argument and though they're targeting all parties they should be throwing their weight more behind one than another as this GE they may well have an influence on how some voters vote rather than just berate them all and make less impact on the outcome.

Labour have today committed to setting up 320,000 Climate Apprenticeships and Corporation Tax would rise but not beyond 2010 levels. Matching the timing the Tories have just announced they have cancelled the upcoming fall in Corporation Tax to 17%, retaining it at 19%

I don't think Labour or the SNP would like that idea.

          Con 39.7 = 258
          Lab 28.8 = 187
          Lib 15.8 = 102
          Brexit 7.4 = 48
          Green 2.8 = 18
          SNP 3.4 = 22

Labour and the Lib Dems really need to get smart on this one, a coalition really is their only hope and they have to find a way of chipping off some of the Tory vote to tip the scales back.

The Lab supporters seem to really hate the LibDems though; they see them as Tory-lite.

They need a short term dose of the Enemy of My Enemy

If Remain has even a slither of shots and the public perceive the opposition parties as letting petty squabbling stop it then they'll never forgive them for it and we'll be looking at term after term after term for the Tories then

I think we should do away with the entire voting system and replace it with a kind of Battlebus deathmatch. A bit like Carmageddon or Vigilante 8. We could do a Bordersdown one, weld a load of spikes to a Leyland National. Once we win, there'll be a pound in every pocket and a Chase HQ machine in every chip shop.

Why hasn't someone started a Remain party?

That's kinda the LibDems right now. They're positioning themselves as what they'd probably view as centrists, with cancelling Brexit as their headline policy.

The brexit party is a stupid idea that only people who voted for brexit would think is good (policies beyond brexit?) so I’m glad there’s no remain party as that would indicate they haven’t thought beyond remaining.

Pitchforks and guillotines at the ready. Tory twitter account pretended to be a fact checking account during the debate, switching logos etc. How is this allowed?
Twitter said the stunt was misleading to the public and would not be tolerated in future - but did not take any direct action.

Snap poll on the TV debate shows a split audience which is embarrassing for Johnson as he really shouldn't struggle to outclass a rival with such low popularity and who he's made out to be such a bad opposite.
