the menus aren't that bad, they have little pictures so you know what they are, and everything saves automatically, so no problems with overwriting your file by accident

I rented out SSX 3 which is awsome but being a 1080 64 fan i went for this.

Got it a few days ago and after a couple of rounds on each of the modes its been gathering dust.

Read the NTSC-uk review. I was the same when I first got it. If you liked the first 1080, then this one seems disappointing at first, until you unlock the faster boards and later levels. Then it really comes into it's own. Give it a bit more time. Otherwise, you are definitely missing out.
