I'm not to keen on the pre-fix jobs, especially when people re-align a fixing screw to try and make a letter look like a different letter or when peeps space the letters wrong to try and spell a name.
The proper plates, like what have come from off old cars are nice. I'd like one on my car.
Does anyone know where one can sell number plates?
I have E34 GUY from an old motorbike that got written off - might be worth something, no?
Aye, definitely worth a few bob that one, but as far as I am aware if it's coming off a bike, it has to go onto another bike (unless they have changed the rules)
The bike it's coming off would need to be road worthy/legal as well. I think they even inspect them now before they allow the transfer.
It's a beast alright although my original comment was based on a previous ride where I felt it was unpowered/overweight, stiff, big for the sake of being big and not overly practical; there is more room in my car. I was not impressed >_< Still not convinced of the style either, I much prefer their proper cars
I guess that isn't the point of a sports util though
edit: Yep, BMW owned plates -- I was at BMW in Reading today (I2 service), saw plenty of 'em along with the M3 plate I mentioned.
I always thought the bloke who managed to get PEN1S was lucky, apparantly it was accidently registered.
I saw that plate on a Ferrari a good few years back near Portsmouth. Looked really stupid tbh as the guy drivng it looked like a bit of a dick as it was without labeling himself one.
Attached is my idea of a bad plate and a good plate. The Ferrari The Lambo 8)
