I just read the Edge review and it doesn?t even feel like I?m playing the same game. This game is absolutely great. It sometimes has the feel of an old-fashioned adventure point n click game with it?s inventory-based puzzles, but most of all it truly terrifies me. The horror builds up slowly and keeps the big monsters out of sight for a long time.

The fact that you spend a good deal of the game without even a small pocket knife to defend yourself with is a great design decision. Anybody who has played the part where you have to flee the Gilman Hotel knows what I?m talking about.

I love this game. This is the first time I?ve played a game where the Cthulhu Mythos feels really frightening, and isn?t just a pasted on gimmick for game makers too lazy to come up with their own background story.

Of course I wasn't basing my reaction to just one review. I went to Game Rankings and several US forums before deciding to cancel.

As said the decision was based as much on the fact that RE4 and Half-Life 2 are imminent - there are only so many survival horror/FPSs you can play and the merely average can be ignored for now.

Would be nice if they made the original CoC BC for the Xbone. Anyone know if an update is in the pipeline?

Radishingly hands-on with a tapering dick.

Only kidding. Tells the most amazingly sh!t-but-witty jokes in such a deadpan way he makes it an artform.

                          I'll take that. I'm pretty sure it's a compliment.
