What a great line up! I have a proper man crush on Chris Harris, read his Evo column for years and his YouTube show is the best car show on any medium. And Eddie Jordan! If there's some behind the scenes news the FIA don't want out, Eddie will get it.
Can't think of a better crew, looking forward to it even more.Last edited by Wools; 12-02-2016, 20:00.

If the BBC want Top Gear to work again, they need to get back Clarkson, Hammond and May, they were Top Gear, they made the show work (the viewing figures don't lie, audience has more than halved).
As that's never going to happen, the best thing the BBC can do with Top Gear is scrap it and start again from scratch with a completely different branding and try to rid themselves of the spectre that'll continue to haunt them if they remain with the same format.
Also, I'm happy to hear Joey has gone, he was more wooden than my garden fence.Last edited by MartyG; 01-06-2018, 12:36.

There's rumblings that James Martin might take over as the host of Top Gear:
I was thinking about Top Gear because I've just rewatched the Japanese episode because it's so great, especially Rory's section with the tricked out retro cars and the Lamborghini club.
I'm not the only one who thought it was good and the avoidance of veiled racial slurs was a real progression.
It's not perfect and is still an entertainment show, editing out the boring bits and manufacturing drama, but it's less ridiculous than the latter trio's farcical adventures.
By a show of virtual hands, how many of you saw the newest Top Gear episode that aired over the weekend? The Japan episode? Was your mind blown? Because mine sure was.

I'm made of questions right now:
How well do they know each other already? Is there a rapport or is this going to be starting from scratch and difficult to watch?
How much do these two really know about cars?
How well can they drive cars? I know Clarkson isn't exactly a race driver, but you could trust him to take a car round a track and push it to normal limits. Can Flintoff?
