Exactly. It does look bloody awesome for a homebrew effort, and if the play matches then sweeeet. Hopefully the first of many quality hb efforts.

sucks its $550, super bubble pop although no-one bought it , was 99
I guess the ROM will be out soon enough, its odd how all homebrew on other machines is given away source and all, I guess with this being an established and near finished game its different though and they can charge what they like..

Yes but its still a console or at least can be! I'd go mvs, pick up a one slot for sub 40 quid, hook it up to cheap supergun and your ready to go. MVS carts run a hell of lot cheaper than their AES counterparts and with a uni bios you can boot them in console mode so theyre not constantly in arcade mode, unlock blood options, cheats etc. Or you can consolize a mvs which is basically wiring the components of a supergun onto the mvs so you have everything under one roof. Theres some absolutly beatiful examples of consolized 4 lsots floating around. Check out neo-geo.com for more info

Although of course I could just wait for the rom coz we all know how much I dig them.
I am hoping the price drops a little though..the dev team sent out a survey to preorder peeps the other day with numerous questions....some being price related.

Cool, post impressions when you eventually get it.
It seems 40-odd KOF 2001 carts have disappeared from the neostore's inventory, so I guess they're using that as the SAC cart for the "Premium" versions.
Normal version with used cartridge and shockbox seems to be taking the piss somewhat, even for this IMO.
