A lot of games ued it on the title screens, Radiant Silvergun, Panzer Saga...

It must be in hi-res. The size of the playfield, and the fact that it looks so clean!

When I first saw VF2's hi-res sheen, it blew me away!

It actually gave the games a bit of a next-gen feeling imo. I mean, VF2 basically runs just as smooth as Soul Calibur (both 60fps) and smoother than VF3 :P

Add up the moving mouths and its not hard to tell the Saturn could indeed outclass the PSX in 3d visuals if it wasn't such a bitch to program for.

Yep, the Saturn could output a resolution higher than the PSX, N64, Dreamcast, Xbox, Game Cube and PS2.

Yeah.. that amazed me! 720 by something... WOW!

For a standard resolution it looked excellent, but did have a sort of shimmer on my tv, which looked quite cool!
