The MG30 dropped, I cheesed my way through Starship (it was still hard, though) and, after farming health to around 9500, I've beaten Inferno!

Only Wrath left... I have to do this!

With a 2nd controller deploying ZEXR-GUNs while I bombed away with the Stampede XM.

Seven years, it took me... I'll give the bug blasting a break but I'm going back to EDF 2025 soon.

Seriously well done, as much as I've tried I can't quite do inferno (offline) on 4.0 or 4.1 - though I believe 4.1 is actually impossible anyway.

I'll give it my best with 5.0 to join you in the Elite!

2025 / 4.0 is very geared towards co-op, which is to say online co-op. Previous titles were difficult, but manageable, on your own. On 2025 even a completion on normal is very hard to pull off solo. Perhaps after a lot of health farming, sure, but that's not much fun.
