Firmware 1.7 is apparently up, according to Kotaku. Adds support for rumble in PS1/2 games, PlayStation saves on the PSP and downloaded PlayStation games are now playable on the PS3 (Though that doesn't seem to be reflected on the store just yet). The update isn't listed on the official site yet.

Virtua Tennis 3 Demo is also up on the UK store now as well as Ninja Gaiden Sigma going up on both the US and JPN stores.

Classic Gaming for PS3 Hits PLAYSTATION Store This Week

The vintage days of gaming return Thursday as Sony Computer Entertainment America will offer ten classic PlayStation titles on the PLAYSTATION Store for download and play on PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3) system. Consumers who have already purchased these titles for their PSP system may download it to their PS3 at no additional charge.

Super Rub a Dub Starter Pack & Full Game (free/$6.99): Amusing and vibrant, Super Rub a Dub brings rubber ducklings to life. Utilizing the SIXAXIS wireless controller motion sensors, guide your ducklings in colorful water-filled tubs to clear each stage safely away from sharks.

I think this is new to the EU Playstation store > Ridge Racer 7 URFA races 1-13. All free.

I've never seen them before anyway (only the decals).

And also some bizarre looking cat demo thing thats still downloading so i don't know what it is

edit - its finished now, its still got a cat in it (might be the hello kitty one) but I still have no idea. Game icon says everyday together store on it.
