    Liking the 1989 Batmobile

    Comment

That one snuck up on me, liking the look of that, would be nice to get each batmobile

Really strange how under reported that Batmobile is. Looking around and it seems the rrp is $250 which is way too steep for me. However, the Diner is the same price in the US and £130 over here so that means it may not be quite so extremely costly as it seems. It's odd such a high profile release is getting such a stealth launch and I might be able to get it for, effectively, free if the end product seems worthwhile. On the face of it the design seems simple but apparently it's around 2ft long.

Official now, out Black Friday for $249.99 or £219.99
          Too steep for me.

That is just lovely. Back when I was 10 I would have killed for that.

Review of it, if the right retailer gets it in I may crack

Some of the Hidden Side sets are really nice but the packaging is terrible imo.

That whole line does nothing for me at all.

Got the fossil dinos though, so bloody pretty. It's one of those sets where just being made out of Lego makes them so much more nice looking, because they have that kind of bitty jagged feel.

I might get the Hidden Side lighthouse but not in relation to the series holding appeal, I'm thinking of tying it with the shipwreck tugboat I have and the Arkham Asylum set for a bit of a run down coastal theme.

I'm on Bag 13 of 15 now for the Jurassic Park gate, it's coming together well but for one thing... it isn't going to fit in the display case
