    True RGB from a PAL SNES

    I've got my pal super nintendo modded for 50/60, and I've always thought the cable was true RGB but I've tried it recently on my panasonic LCD (it looks crap of course) but it definitely looks like SVHS. is it possible to get RGB from the machine, I'll try my gamecube RGB cable again but last time it was really too dark due to resistors inside I guess.

    hhmmng. I'd love rock solid clear RGB when I'm playing NBA JAM

    from downnn townnn!

    You need a RGB scart without the resistors (or something like that, can't quite remember).

    PAL SNES RGB and AV Scart cable
    * True RGB signal for superior image quality
    * Also outputs a composite (AV) video signal in case you don't have an RGB compatible scart socket on your TV
    * 2.1 meters long
    * Stereo sound
    * Specifically for use with PAL SNES (Super Nintendo) consoles

      No it's the capacitors you want to remove..

      A PAL SNES RGB SCART cable should have no capacitors in it.

      There should be a 47 ohm resistor on each of the R, G and B lines, and perhaps a couple of other alterations depending upon how many mistakes the 10 pence an hour female labourer that soldered it together made.

      There's a diagram on the following site that works;
