View Full Version : FA Cup Final 2010

I thought they were going to have the pitch sorted? It looks a right state.

Nice young lady singing the national anthem.

Not keen on Chelsea's new shirt. Add bit of red to collar. ?40 please.

15-05-2010, 02:19 PM
Yeah, that red bit on the collar looks completely out of place.

I don't really care who wins either way, but I suppose it'd probably be funnier if Portsmouth ended up with the cup :)

15-05-2010, 02:25 PM
Yep wouldn't mind a Pompey win but Chelsea are well on top at the mo.

15-05-2010, 02:27 PM
Christ that was some miss by Kalou! The Pompey miss was more understandable as it was just a reaction flick at the ball, but I couldn't believe that wasn't 1-0 to Chelsea.

15-05-2010, 02:29 PM
How do you hit the bar from THERE?

15-05-2010, 02:39 PM
Not a goal there. Good save.

15-05-2010, 02:42 PM
Commentators are right though, why on earth have FIFA ruled out goal line tech? It took them 15-20 seconds to get a couple of replays on screen, it would barely slow the game down at all.

15-05-2010, 02:46 PM

I reckon that's in. You can see a bit of green between the ball and the line

Anyway, this game is driving me nuts. How are we not several goals in front?

15-05-2010, 02:49 PM
Didn't look like the whole ball was over the line to me.

How this is still 0-0 I'll never know :p

15-05-2010, 02:51 PM
The angle in line with the post showed it wasn't totally over. You're right though should be at least 4-0.

The pitch actually isn't playing too badly except for the bobbles. Nowhere near as bad as the semis despite looking bad.

15-05-2010, 02:51 PM
I think they just about got it right on that Drogba shot, from the reply exactly side on to the goal it looked like the whole ball wasn't over.

At the moment though, I don't get a sense that it's going to be one of those days for Chelsea, more like just waiting for the floodgates to open. I suppose I'd probably feel differently if I were a Chelsea fan :)

15-05-2010, 02:55 PM
Yeah no goal. Although I thought it was until they showed the side-on view.

Had to LOLZ at the woodwork show.

15-05-2010, 03:04 PM
All those empty seats a minute into the second half...

15-05-2010, 03:14 PM
Definite penalty, but poor spot kick from the Prince.

15-05-2010, 03:14 PM
*breathes again*

Penalty saved!

15-05-2010, 03:15 PM
Awful, just awful.

15-05-2010, 03:16 PM
Wouldn't be surprised if this free kick goes straight in from Chelsea now.

15-05-2010, 03:17 PM
In off the POST

15-05-2010, 03:19 PM
In off the POST

Can't believe I didn't call a post being involved, it was bound to happen!

15-05-2010, 03:20 PM
\o/ \o/ \o/

Not keen on Chelsea's new shirt. Add bit of red to collar. £40 please.

It's a tribute to the Chelsea pensioners

15-05-2010, 03:31 PM
Commentators reckon Dindane is one of two players who are gifted for Pompey. What the hell is he on about? He is just physical, he has nothing else at all.

Chelsea are ok course for this win quite easily it seems. Couple of scares for them but I think thats just about all of the chances Portsmouth will get.

edit : They also reckon Kanu is 33, LOL.

15-05-2010, 03:46 PM
Get Frankie on the penalties for England this summer ;) A Pompey equaliser now would be fun.

15-05-2010, 03:50 PM
Missed penalties, awesome.

Still don't rate Joe Cole, if Spurs sign him I'll be pissed off. We don't need his fancy dan antics.

15-05-2010, 03:53 PM
lampard goes bottom left 8 times out of 10 im suprised keepers dont pick up on it more,

what a boring match if that crap pen went in pompy would have won it what a shame,

a double this year but not a special double,

15-05-2010, 03:59 PM
lol edit

It's only boring because Portsmouth didn't win. There was plenty of drama to keep things interesting and Portsmouth could've easily gone in front.

Something needs to be done about the atmosphere in Wembley, you compare it to the final day at stamford bridge and you wouldn't think there's 40,000 more people there.

We won the double \o/

15-05-2010, 04:06 PM
i only heard pompy fans, shows how much chelski care? the pitch was a bit crap again why cant they get it right ?

15-05-2010, 05:02 PM
The woodwork was hit about five or six times, a couple of missed penalties, it wasn't exactly a dull affair.

15-05-2010, 05:52 PM
I listened to the second half on the radio and was totally gripped!

16-05-2010, 05:58 AM
For the first time in a looooong time a trip to Ikea was more appealing than the cup final. Did I miss much?
