How to get rid of smoke smell from electronics?

I got a TV to review and apparently, the person who had it before me is a nicotine addict.
Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the smell before it stinks up the room?

I'd just buy an air freshener. Depending on how long he'd have had the TV the smell won't budge so your only real hope is to mask it.

Thanks for the tips - I've stashed the thing in the garage under a heavy tarpaulin (the garage doesn't leak, but still), and that seems to have gotten rid of the dog-crap-esque tang. It'll whiff a bit up close but it'll do since it's a review sample.

Send it back, with a note complaining of the smell. Job's a good 'un

It should go with time. Just make sure you get some fresh air around it and it should disperse.
