    USPS deliveries received from US to UK question

    I ordered some stuff from the US.
    Been tracking its movements since it was despatched.
    Apparently they tried to deliver my parcel on 27th Oct at........3.40am?

    Here's the tracking details.

    How valuable is it? You sometimes get that before the whole "held at Customs to determine if we're gonna charge you" malarky...

      It might be in some American timezone. If it's PDT then that would make it +8 hours of BST.

        -8 hours surely?

        Looks like that's what's happened- the tracking process is still on US time. Can't see the postie knocking on your door at 3 in the morning.

          Got a letter from Parcel Force this morning.
          They stung me for Tax @ ?16, & a 'Parcel Force Clearence Fee' of ?8.

          Not happy with that 'clearence fee' bollocks. Had to pay up tho.
