Transfer from 360 to me new 360 slim

Bought a new 250g slim 360 and used a 16gb kingston usb stick to transfer all my stuff over. Some games and stuff didn't transfer over and some got corrupted.

Anyone know what I might have done wrong? It's not that bad really just my Personal settings file on fifa 11 got corrupted which is a bit **** and my NFS hot pursuit save/stats are all wiped. Other games I have are ok as the stats seem to be saved online.

Don't you get a transfer cable in the slim box, and the software for transferring everything over is on the slim already?

No, the transfer cable it a seperate accessory, about £15 RRP. However the software for transfering is on the slim. I used an old cable to transfer from a 2yr old 120GB Elite to a new Halo Reach 360 Slim a few months ago.

As said already, the transfer software is now integrated into the dash and the cable is £15.
