I've never had an apple id before. I've never had an apple id phishing email before.

I have only downloaded one app "camdictionary" : https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/camd...407952605?mt=8

Can I assume that this app's developer is selling the list of downloader apple ids emails?

I've figured out the biggest problem there.

Are you saying that apple itself has a security hole? My apple id is my email address.

It is a random Chinese developer who made it

Id say in your case Charles its the dev or an associate of it that's done it. I can't even re set mine to download apps at the moment the whole apple id thing seems broken, link to reset is broken, link to get an email to reset is broken, very fustrating.

Apple doesn't give that kind of info out to developers. Just statistics regarding sales. Does sound rather suspicious though.

Sounds dodgy but I would be surprised if it was from Apples end. Had an ID for years with my iPod, MacBook, iPhone & iPad & not had any problems.

Online shops are another issue though. After PSN & the year loads of shops were being hacked, I was forced to create a new email address, close all my others & only use a few shops online. Made me think about who I give my personal details too though.
