    PORN ILLEGAL IN EUROPE

Have a copy of the Sun newspaper on your coffee table? Ever visit the sexy women thread hoping for something a bit racy? Or perhaps you've got the entire Gwen Media DVD collection on your shelf.

If so, you have broken the law and risk lengthy prison terms and massive fines, since all recorded forms of nudity or sexual activity - even between legally consenting adults - is now ILLEGAL.

Or rather, it almost became illegal, but thanks to some voting, the idea of making nakedness illegal was rejected.

Get full-length product reviews, the latest news, tech coverage, daily deals, and category deep dives from CNET experts worldwide.

But basically, this Dutch politician, Kartika Tamara Liotard, demanded:
A ban on ALL forms of pornography in the media

"Porno is de duivel het werk moeten we verbieden het en maak mensen eten meer havermout. Het is een kwaad zonde om naakte vlees te zien! De enige manier om ware zuiverheid vinden is om iemands genitali?n verbrand door chirurgen om de mensheid te reinigen! Ban deze zieke vuiligheid!" said Liortard when asked for comment.

That's right, a ban across Europe, on any and all forms of porn, nudity, or anything remotely sexual, be it in print, on Betamax, DVD, or the internet. Simply drawing a crude cartoon of a cock on your mate's textbook at school could result in a lifetime prison sentence!

    Somebody BAN THIS SICK FILTH.

I fully support any campaign to stop the nudity of Kartika Tamara Liotard. (Made up name, surely)

No, she's apparently a real politician, and the news story is true.

I saw it on Russia Today on TV last night. The European Union was voting on whether to ban all sight of adult naked humans in all media.

UKIP will be annoyed she didn't succeed. If the EU had banned porn they'd have won the next election here by a landslide!

Brussells would never have passed it, they love a bit of bap. Stupid it even got to voting stage, far too many low end mps in the world trying to make a name for themselves with stupid crusades. Her ex husband probably has a home made sex video of her and she rushed the ban agenda to block it

It's the same with video games. Shoot someone in the head? No one bats an eyelid. Hints of sex? OMG front page news.
                      World is definitely broken.

Yep, that is so weird and twisted to me. Extreme violence isn't a problem. The bodies we have though? That's serious **** and not something people should ever see. I mentioned this example in another thread but it still strikes me as so bizarre and is relevant again here but The Walking Dead is hilarious in this regard. One of the most violent TV shows I have ever seen, with serious gore and nasty moments. And whenever there is a hint of a sex scene, it goes all coy and shy with the camera angles. It suddenly feels the need to get tasteful.

                        Just plain nuts.

She wanted to ban nudity? Meaning all newborns would be criminals the moment they came into this world. What a ****-brained proposal. Nudity is natural. Laws are unnanural. Silly woman.
