MD PSU on SFC= Safe?

Hi all,

Was using my SD2SNES on my SFC via a BVM Monitor and basically getting flickering on the screen. After a bit of googling it seems the fix is using an MD power supply for reasons that go well over my head!

Just wanted to confirm with you wonderful lot that this was indeed safe before I try it?

My first SFC was supplied with an MD1 PSU, so you'll be fine.

Sweet, thanks - can report that worked and also solved my issue with SD2SNES! Gerrin! Can play Clock Tower in English now!!

Pretty much all the old import consoles ran off an MD1 PSU.

I remember running a PCE, AES, SFC, MD & FC off the one unit. Wire got a bit tangled eventually though.

Yep. My US SNES runs off a mk1 MD supply (with plug adapter).
