Loan experiences - what's the quickest way to get one?

Does anyone have any experience with these?

I need money asap - a certain individual has ROYALLY F*CKED me after making many promises on a purchase.

    how much money?
Personally I'd advoid getting a loan at all times (apart from a mortgage), but ESPECIALLY if I need money because there is then the chance of not being able to pay off the loan.

I don't have any loan advice other than try to avoid taking one, but if the person who has failed on a trade is from this forum, PM myself or one of the other mods details.

But they're interest rates are sky high. Do you not have any family/friends you trust (and who trust you) who can lend you the cash?

or even the bank any credit card company. Payday loan co's can affect your credit rating some places wont lend to you if you use one. Nothing you could take to a crime convertors/local pawnbrokers instead (at least its better than 6000% APR)

Thanks Colin. I'm trying to keep them private for the moment. They never let me down in the past and I'm clinging to some hope that they'll do the right thing. Problem is this has been dragging on for months, I need a backup plan right now since I am currently being ignored or bullshi*ted.

Family and friends are already struggling. I can get around ?400 (cumulatively) from different people right now.

That's what I'm worried about, not much of a choice right now. My credit card is maxxed too.

Like I said, if it's someone from here let me know. I don't need to take action on it right away if you'd prefer, but they may be causing issues with other people too, so it's best we are aware in case they're messing multiple members around. I take bad traders on the forum very seriously, it's too good a site for any nonsense being carried out.

Best to talk through it in person with whoever you bank with and borrow from them, probably best to clear your credit card debt too with the same loan for a better interest rate.

Oh and Colin you have never been more attractive.

                        don't get a payday loan

the amount of interest you pay might stick you back in the hole

best way I found was to sell your stuff

I was going to re-mortgage but the product costs money and the interested over the time of the mortgage is massive

but I did have some time to play with - sorry about the woes and if it is

Colin is right if the person is here best to let at least a mod know in private then if anyone else is hanging on you might get the bigger picture if there is a chain of people

or just do what I do and confront them publically on the forums

I am trying to sell my stuff, but at the moment I have just a little over a week to sort this payment out. I can't shift anything that quickly.

I don't want to reveal them to a mod (yet) - there is still a slight glimmer of hope that they might come through on Wednesday.....but I got the same promises for 2 months...I dunno.

I'm pretty sure that no one else is hanging, since they have sold and bought stuff here recently.

I would either charge it to you credit card if you can get one that is 0% interest or the like. I would avoid the payday loans they are designed to stick you back into debt. I am not sure what the situation is with selling your stuff via the forum.
